To coincide with their exhibition SCAPEGOATING PICTURES for London, Gilbert & George will be in conversation with Gregor Muir.
Gregor Muir was appointed Executive Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London in 2011, and has recently co-authored a book on the first twenty years of the ICA's history entitled 'Institute of Contemporary Arts: 1946-1968'. Muir previously worked as director of Hauser & Wirth, London and Kramlich Curator of Contemporary Art at Tate. In 1997, Muir founded the Lux Gallery in Hoxton Square, London, as well as co-curating 'Assuming Positions' at the ICA. In 1993 he worked on the group show 'Lucky Kunst' featuring Gary Hume and Sam Taylor-Wood, which would later inspire a book of the same name documenting the London art scene in the 1990s.
This event is free but spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis - please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place.
