This exhibition marks the continuation of German-born contemporary photographer Andreas Gursky's first solo show in Japan, following on from his exhibition at The National Art Center in Tokyo.
The exhibition will include approximately 65 photographs selected by the artist and will range from early works such as 99 Cent (1999), Rhine II (1999) to more recent works such as F1 Pit Stop IV (2007), Pyongyang I (2007) as well as Tokyo Stock Exchange (1990) and Kamiokande (2007), both of which were shot in Japan. Gursky will also present his newest work titled Qatar (2012) along with his most recent series' of photographs ’Ocean’ (2010) and ’Bangkok’ (2011).
