From 25 September 2015
Anselm Kiefer’s permanent installation, The Seven Heavenly Palaces, inaugurated in 2004 for the opening of HangarBicocca, will form part of a new display at the museum, along with five large-scale paintings by the artist.
Curated by Vicente Todolí, the display is an expansion of The Seven Heavenly Palaces. Together with the ‘towers’ of the artwork, which are now open for the public to walk through, the paintings, made between 2009 and 2013 but never before shown, will form a single installation entitled The Seven Heavenly Palaces, 2004 – 15.
