Antony Gormley has collaborated with Hofesh Shechter to design a visual landscape for ‘Survivor’, Shechter’s new production opening at the Barbican Theatre this January. While Shechter has previously composed the score for all of his choreographed dance pieces, this is his first concert. A band of thirty musicians will perform live in Gormley’s specially designed set, combining percussion, strings and atmospheric electronic soundscapes.

Survivor is commissioned by The Barbican, London and produced by Hofesh Shechter Company. Supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and supported by Quercus Trust and Outset Contemporary Art Fund.
