Cerith Wyn Evans is among the 43 artists featured in Skulpture Projectke Münster 2017.
Held every 10 years, the project brings together temporary site-specific works by international artists, displayed in public spaces across Münster, Germany.
For the fifth edition, 30 artists were invited to participate by freelance curator Britta Peters and Marianne Wagner, curator at the LWL Museum for Art and Culture in Münster. The resulting exhibition looks how digitalisation and globalisation have blurred the boundaries between private & public.
Cerith Wyn Evans presents A Modified Threshold…(for Münster) Existing church bells made to ring at a (slightly) higher pitch (2017), a refrigeration unit installed by the artist in the bell tower of St. Stephanus Church.
