22 February - 20 April 2014
Christian Marclay's 'The Clock' will go on display at Le Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal.
'The Clock' is a captivating 24-hour looped video that plays in real-time. Thousands of film references to time as well as timepieces have been compiled to create a compelling moving image illustration of each minute of a passing day. The work has attracted record breaking crowds wherever it has been shown and was the winner of the 'Golden Lion' award at the Venice Biennale in 2011.
This presentation has been organised by the National Gallery of Canada.
