As part of the 'Akademos' series, the Museum Küppersmühl für Moderne Kunst will present a solo exhibition by artist and professor Eberhard Havekost.
Havekost's paintings reflect civilisation, architecture, mass consumption and the behaviour of our media-dominated society. They are based on his own collection of digital photographic material of people, objects and landscapes that he has collected as relics of our civilisation. He digitally alters this material and removes these objects or landscapes from their original context, before integrating them into his work.
