‘The past, the present, the possible: Sharjah Biennial 12 (SB12)’ invites artists and cultural practitioners to introduce their ideas of the possible. Etel Adnan, Mark Bradford, Jac Leirner, Julie Mehretu and Damián Ortega are among over fifty artists to present work at sites in and around Sharjah and in the city of Kalba on the Gulf of Oman.
A series of screenings, excursions and events taking place from 5 – 7 March 2015 to mark the opening SB12 can be viewed here. Film screenings and an education programme will take place every Saturday for the duration of the Biennial.
SB12 is organised by Sharjah Art Foundation and curated by Eungie Joo.
