Gary Hume was the winner of the Jerwood Painting Prize in 1997 and was elected as a Royal Academician in 2001. The exhibition entitled 'Gary Hume: Flashback', organised by the Arts Council, will feature a range of paintings and sculptures produced by the Turner Prize nominated artist. 

The exhibition traces a path from Hume's early works to the present day, including some of the outstanding early acquisitions of the artist's paintings by the Arts Council Collection, such as 'Four Feet in the Garden' (1995), as well as key works from the artist's own collection.
