Gary Hume’s solo exhibition ‘Beauty’ will open at the Pinchuk Art Centre this month. The artist is best known for his simplified imagery and striking colours. His characteristic high gloss paint on aluminium works will be on display alongside new sculptures as well as earlier drawings and paintings. This exhibition explores Hume’s interest in birds, flowers, nature and the human body. This is the artist’s first major exhibition in Eastern Europe.
