As part of the first major US museum retrospective devoted to art of the 1980's, 'This Will Have Been: Art, Love & Politics in the 1980s' at the ICA Boston, Haim Steinbach will be taking part in a panel discussion, which is part of a series of talks and events that have been scheduled at the museum for the duration of this exhibition.
Other panelists include David Joselit, Carnegie Professor of Art History, Yale University; Elisabeth Sussman, Sondra Gilman, Curator of Photography at the Whitney Museum of American Art and moderator Helen Molesworth. The discussion will focus on the decade highlighted in the exhibition.
