The Artist's Institute divides each year into two seasons, dedicating each season to one artist. During a season, only one work by the chosen artist is shown at one time.
The fifth season at The Artist’s Institute is dedicated to the artist Haim Steinbach. A different work by Steinbach features each month, until the end of January 2013. Each month also includes contributions by artists, writers and thinkers.
To mark the final instalment of the season, a group exhibition curated by the artist is on view between 6-26 of January 2013. This includes works by Peter Halley, Rachel Harrison, Joseph Kosuth, Sherrie Levine, Glen Seator, Nancy Shaver, Shelly Silver, Gwen Smith, Steel Stillman and Julia Wac. The season will culminate in a final event inspired by Haim Steinbach on 27 January 2013.
Works that have been included in the season so far are:
