Jeff Wall’s exhibition ‘In light, black, colour, white, and dark’ opens at the Pinchuk Art Centre this month. Wall is renowned for introducing the qualities of the tableau into photography. In this exhibition, a survey of the artist’s work over the last three decades, recent works are displayed alongside earlier photographs, including light boxes, black and white works as well as colour prints. This is the artist’s first solo exhibition in Eastern Europe.
