Larry Bell and Robert Irwin both feature in ‘Another Minimalism: Art After California Light and Space’, a group exhibition that brings together modern and contemporary international artists who build on the phenomenological terrain first explored by California ‘Light and Space’ artists of the 1970s.
The works in the exhibition, including those by artists such as Tacita Dean and Olafur Eliasson, show their relationship to the more experiential West Coast school of art developed by artists such as Larry Bell and Robert Irwin in their emphasis on the perceptual and psychological aspects of seeing.
Another Minimalism: Art After California Light and Space is curated by Melissa E. Feldman
