Miroslaw Balka will be in conversation with Pawel Althamer at the Deutsche Guggenheim this December. The talk will examine the shared concerns and oppositions in the practice of these artists who each represent two generations of contemporary art in Poland. Both artists currently have solo exhibitions in Berlin, Balka with ’Fragment’ at the Akademie der Künste and Althamer at the Deutsche Guggenheim. The evening will be chaired by Suzanne Cotter, curator of the Abu Dhabi Project, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.

Please note that the conversation will be conducted in English. Both exhibitions will be open on the evening with free admission, as will the "Clubraum" at the Akademie der Künste.
