Mona Hatoum has been named winner of the 10th Hiroshima Art Prize, given once every three years by the City of Hiroshima. The award will be marked by an exhibition of Hatoum’s work at Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art [Hiroshima MOCA], in 2017.
The artist’s work has also been the subject of a major exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, Paris this year. The exhibition will travel Tate Modern, London where it will be on view from 4 May – 21 August 2016.
