Ibrahim Mahama is one of six artists exhibiting in the inaugural Ghana Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia.

Titled ‘Ghana Freedom', the exhibition examines the legacies and trajectories of the nation’s independence in 1957, and is curated by Nana Oforiatta Ayim and designed by David Adjaye.

Featured artists: Felicia Abban, John Akomfrah, El Anatsui, Ibrahim Mahama, Selasi Awusi Sosu and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.
