Christian Marclay performs with cellist Okkyung Lee at The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York as part of an expansive series of events bringing contemporary artists into dialogue with Alexander Calder.

Marclay will activate Small Sphere and Heavy Sphere (1932-33), Calder's first hanging mobile, by reconfiguring elements of the work. The artist will interve and add new items, while Lee improvises in response to the mobile.
