In honour of Georg Baselitz’s 80th birthday, the Fondation Beyeler and Kunstmuseum Basel open two major retrospectives of his work.

The Fondation Beyeler's comprehensive survey exhibition brings together around 80 paintings and 10 sculptures, presenting a selection of the artist’s most important works.

Offering unprecedented insight into the development of his graphic style, the Kunstmuseum’s Department of Prints and Drawings will show 100 large-format and colour drawings spanning Baselitz's prolific six-decade career.
