Rizzoli launches ‘Antony Gormley’, a new monograph by Martin Caiger-Smith

Posted:

1 May - 1 May 2017

A definitive new monograph by Rizzoli studies the entirety of Antony Gormley's career, from his earliest sketches to his best-known public installations.

With access to the artist, his archives and working studio Martin Caiger-Smith examines the relationship between Gormley's life and art. For more than thirty-five years, Gormley has sought to explore the relationship of the human body to space and to reinvigorate and test the potential of sculpture.

Antony Gormley and Martin Caiger-Smith are in conversation with film-maker Beeban Kidron to mark the publication of the new monograph at the V&A Museum on 30 November 2017 at 7pm.

Published in the UK on 27 October 2017 and in the US on 28 November 2017.
