Theaster Gates receives 2018 Nasher Prize

In September 2017, the Nasher Sculpture Center announced American artist Theaster Gates as the recipient of the 2018 Nasher Prize. Gates will be presented with an award designed by Renzo Piano, architect of the Nasher Sculpture Center, at a ceremony in Dallas on 7 April 2018.

As part of the celebration of Gates’s award, the Center presents five works by the artist in exhibition which runs until 28 April 2018.
