Virginia Overton at MOCA, Tuscon

Posted:

17 July - 1 October 2017

Virginia Overton presents a new site-specific installation in response to the Neo-Brutalist space of the MOCA’s Great Hall.

Through a process of trial and error, Overton produces sculptures that are simultaneously minimal and dramatic as they respond to the architecture of a particular environment. In the run up to the exhibition, Overton holds a residency at the Museum expanding on her use of found or discarded objects.
