Rachel Kneebone is part of ‘Flesh’, a group exhibition exploring how artists represent flesh in their work. Human and animal, alive and dead, familiar and strange; the exhibition examines the ways artists such as Peter Paul Rubens, Auguste Rodin and William Etty respond to flesh, alongside modern and contemporary works, including those by Rachel Kneebone.
Kneebone’s intricate works address and question the human condition: renewal, transformation, life cycles and the experience of inhabiting the body.
