As part of a year-long series of celebrations around its 175th anniversary, the RCA presents a major exhibition exploring key facets of the College over three centuries. 'The Perfect Place to Grow' will provide a fascinating insight into the world’s oldest art and design school in continuous operation, revealing the politics and polemics behind the perennial question of how Britain should train artists and designers and interrogating the purpose of publicly funded art schools. Exhibits include The Perfect Place to Grow (2001) by Tracey Emin, among other historic and contemporary works of art and design by leading RCA alumni and staff, past and present.
