Theaster Gates, Antony Gormley, Jac Leirner and Julie Mehertu are among the artists on display in the New Tate Modern, which is now open to the public.
The new museum building, the Switch House, which complements the existing building the Boiler House, has been designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron. The completely re-hung permanent collection displays are free to visit and feature 800 works by over 300 artists from over 50 countries, from Chile to India, Russia and Sudan to Thailand.
