In 2011 Partenheimer received an invitation to exhibit at Haus Lemke, the Mies van der Rohe Haus in Berlin at the occasion of Mies van der Rohe´s 125th birthday.
The artist prepared a site-specific installation at the last residential building by Mies in Germany. The residential space as opposed to the exhibition space is the primary inspiration for the exhibition´s layout, in which Partenheimer addresses the issue of intermediality. Partenheimer created a wall drawing specially for the site in the form of a wallpaper. Two drawings serve as independent designs for the patterns of two different strips, which can be combined freely. Made and supported by A.S. Création Foundation, Gummersbach.
