Antony Gormley’s sculpture ‘LOOK II’ is now installed on West Hoe Pier to commemorate Mayflower 400 and the opening of The Box in Plymouth.

Commissioned by The Box and Plymouth City Council, ‘LOOK II’ is a figure made from 22 blocks in one cast iron form that appear stacked, facing out to sea. The work conveys the duality of human desires to make roots and, by contrast, the longing to travel and for adventure.
