The Hepworth Wakefield
In 2018, Evans won The Hepworth Wakefield’s Prize for Sculpture for his important contribution to contemporary sculpture. The form of the ring or void in his three-part neon work ‘Come (II)’ echoes #BarbaraHepworth’s use of this motif when piercing her sculptures, in order to activate the space around them.
