The Kunsthalle Mannheim inaugurates its new building with a major solo show by Jeff Wall. Curated by Dr. Sebastian Baden, Christophe Gallois and Clement Minighetti, the exhibition presents over 30 works spanning the artist’s career and will travel to the Mudam Luxembourg (Musee d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean) in October 2018.

On 25 July and 26 July 2018, Kunsthalle Mannheim will hold a symposium on Jeff Wall and photography, with art historian Michael Fried discussing Wall and his book 'Why Photography Matters as Art as Never Before' (2008).
