Liu Wei and Sarah Morris are included in ‘Art and China after 1989: Theater of the World’ at the Guggenheim Museum in New York; a major exhibition that explores contemporary art from China over a period of almost 20 years.

The exhibition is divided into six chronological and thematic sections installed in the rotunda and on Tower Levels 5 and 7. The largest show of this subject ever mounted in North America, it offers an informative survey of Chinese experimental art, framed by the geopolitical dynamics at the end of the Cold War, the spread of globalisation, and the rise of China.
