White Cube is pleased to participate in the first edition of Art Basel Paris at the Grand Palais, featuring works by Etel Adnan, Alia Ahmad, Darren Almond, Julie Curtiss, Tracey Emin, Theaster Gates, Antony Gormley, Marguerite Humeau, Richard Hunt, Yoko Matsumoto, Tiona Nekkia McClodden, Julie Mehretu, Marina Rheingantz amongst others.
Additional highlights include an outdoor presentation of Takis’s large-scale kinetic sculpture Aeolian (1986), which is on view in the Hôtel de la Marine’s courtyard at Place de la Concorde. The work is presented ahead of the late-Greek artist’s exhibition at White Cube Paris (20 November 2024 – 11 January 2025). Two major works by Takis are currently on public view across the city; Signal (1998) which is on permanent display at Centre Pompidou’s North Terrace and the sprawling installation work Bassin which was unveiled at La Défense in 1988.

White Cube participates in Art Basel Paris’ 2024 Public Program, presenting an outdoor installation of Takis’ large-scale kinetic sculpture Aeolian (1986) in the courtyard of the Hôtel de la Marine at Place de la Concorde. The work will be on view until 5 November 2024.

Salon: Julie Mehretu
Viewable at Basel Paris 2024, Julie Mehretu’s mixed media painting Insile (2013) is the focus of White Cube’s October edition of Salon, a monthly programme showcasing outstanding examples of post-war and contemporary art.

Honoured with a damehood earlier this year for her services to art, Emin’s solo exhibition, ‘I followed you to the end’ is on view at White Cube Bermondsey, until 10 November. In spring 2025, she will open major solo international survey exhibitions at the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, Italy, and the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven, Connecticut.

White Cube is pleased to present works by Takis. A leading figure in the kinetic and sound art movements, Greek artist Panayiotis Vassilakis (1925–2019), known as Takis, incorporated invisible forces as a fourth dimension in his sculpture, painting and sound works.

Coinciding with Frieze London, White Cube is pleased to present a major solo exhibition by Tracey Emin. Spanning the entirety of the Bermondsey gallery’s spaces, the presentation features new paintings and a monumental bronze sculpture by Emin, whose powerfully expressive, sometimes primal artistic approach marks her as one of the most compelling and singular artists working today.

White Cube Seoul is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Mexican artist Gabriel Orozco, featuring paintings and works on paper originating from his 2021–22 series titled ‘Diario de Plantas’, a collection of notebook studies chronicling his impressions of vegetation and plant life gathered in Tokyo, Acapulco and Mexico City.

These take as their departure point poetry, particularly that of her mother, Jennifer Rankin (1941–79), and explore landscape as a carrier of emotion and personal memory.
