White Cube returns to Frieze Los Angeles with works by artists including Tunji Adeniyi-Jones, Etel Adnan, Darren Almond, Georg Baselitz, Julie Curtiss, Lynne Drexler, Tracey Emin, Theaster Gates, Antony Gormley, Yoko Matsumoto, Howardena Pindell, Ilana Savdie, Danh Vo and Jeff Wall among others.
Highlights in the booth include Howardena Pindell’s Window/Sunset (2022). Referencing the multicoloured nature of the evening sunset, the painting features the artist’s signature spray-dot technique which she first conceived in the 1970s. The painting is part of the same body of work currently featured in SALON, White Cube’s online secondary market programme.
Additional highlights include Theaster Gates’s Rhombus (2022). Part of the artist’s ‘Stella Floor’ limited series, made of salvaged ‘old growth pine’ wood acquired from Park Avenue Armory in New York during its renovation. ‘Theaster Gates: 1965: Malcolm in Winter: A Translation Exercise’ is on view at White Cube Bermondsey until 6 April 2025.

The LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund has been set up to help people in the arts across all disciplines. It is led by the J. Paul Getty Trust alongside Frieze and a coalition of major arts organisations and philanthropists in the city. Frieze Los Angeles have also pledged to donate 10% of fair ticket sales to the Fund, so by purchasing a ticket to the fair, visitors are also supporting this important cause.
Grief and Hope are a group of volunteers raising funds to support artists and arts workers who have experienced full loss or severe damage to a home, studio, workplace, or personal property crucial to their livelihood.

‘This Beautiful Light’ is dedicated to Etel Adnan (1925–2021), a leading artistic and literary voice of Arab-American culture, on the centenary of her birth. Celebrating the multi-faceted work of Adnan, this comprehensive exhibition explores the interrelated motifs, mediums and concerns she developed over the course of six decades, and which have come to define her practice.

In March 2025, David Altmejd (b.1974, Montréal, Canada) will present a new series of sculptures at White Cube New York.
Altmejd’s work is a unique and heady mix of science and magic, science fiction and gothic romanticism: a post-apocalyptic vision which is at the same time essentially optimistic, containing as it always does the potential for regeneration, evolution and invention.
