In this film Rachel Kneebone and curator Catherine Morris discuss the artist's dramatic installation alongside the work of Auguste Rodin in her exhibition 'Regarding Rodin' at the Brooklyn Museum, New York (2012). Kneebone reveals the fundamental idea in her work of capturing human emotion through her chosen material: porcelain and of the surprising link in theme and process between her major installation The Descent and Rodin's epic The Gates of Hell.
Filmed in New York, January 2012.
