Anselm Kiefer at Convent de la Tourette, Éveux, France

Posted:

24 September – 22 December 2019

Installations, paintings and sculptures by Anselm Kiefer will be exhibited at La Tourette, a monastery designed by Le Corbusier.

Having visited the monastery for three weeks in 1966, Kiefer credits La Tourette for helping him discover the ‘spirituality of concrete’ and cites the building as a key influence. Works by Kiefer will be displayed in dialogue with La Tourette’s brutalist architecture.
