Cerith Wyn Evans at Tate Britain, London

Posted:

23 – 23 June 2017

In response to Cerith Wyn Evans’ light sculpture Forms in Space…by Light (in Time), Tate Britain presents ‘Vibrational Cycles’, an afternoon of musical performance programmed in collaboration with the artist and pianist Mark Knoop.

The programme starts with a free performance of Karlheinz Stockhausen’s chamber-music composition Refrain and Enno Poppe’s Rad, a work dominated by micro-intervals.

In the evening John Cage’s Two² is played by Knoop and Philip Thomas, and Cerith Wyn Evans discusses his relationship to music.
