Christian Marclay’s 24-hour video installation The Clock inaugurates the newly opened Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS) in São Paulo.

IMS is a non-profit organisation founded by Walter Moreira Salles in 1990. Focusing largely on photography, cinema, music and literature, IMS has gained international acclaim for exhibitions featuring artists from Brazil and abroad. The new space in São Paulo joins two other galleries across Brazil, located in Rio de Janeiro and Poços de Caldas.

The Clock will be shown at the new space over two months, with weekly 24-hour screenings.
