‘Feet First’, a major survey show of works by Georg Baselitz, opens this February at the MUNCH museum in Oslo. Comprising over 80 paintings, drawings and sculptures spanning from the early 1960s to recent years, the exhibition is the most extensive presentation of Baselitz’s oeuvre in Norway to date.

Central to this exhibition is Baselitz’s lifelong fascination with Edvard Munch. Many of the works on display make visual reference to Munch’s style, underscoring his profound influence on the development of modern German art.
