Gilbert & George release new ‘G & G’ Inkwashes (2024)

To celebrate 50 years since creating ‘G & G’ for the ‘DRINKING PIECES – MODERN RUBBISH’ Pictures in 1973, Gilbert & George present a new suite of Inkwashes, titled ‘G AND G’.

Each Inkwash in the ‘G & G’ suite has been hand-painted by Gilbert & George, featuring individual brushwork and distinctive colourful lettering.

Numbered and signed by the artists, the two Inkwash formats (horizontal and vertical) come in an edition of 50 and are available to purchase on The Gilbert & George Centre’s website here.

All proceeds benefit the Centre ensuring its door remains open to everyone with no ticket or entry fee, furthering Gilbert & George’s vision of an ‘Art For All’.
