A solo exhibition by Imi Knoebel goes on show at Skulpturenpark Walfdrieden in Wuppertal, Germany. Titled ‘Bilder’, the exhibition comprises of an installation and selection of the artist’s coloured panel works.

Among the works is Raum 19, a room featuring basic hardboard constructions stacked or arranged side-by-side. Addressing fundamental questions of painting, Raum 19 refers back to the early years of Knoebel’s career, while simultaneously highlighting the common threads within his work.
