Katharina Fritsch awarded the 2025 Goslarer Kaiserring

Katharina Fritsch has been announced as the 2025 recipient of the Kaiserring award from the city of Goslar in Germany. The prestigious honour will be formally presented to Fritsch on 11 October 2025.

This year’s award marks the 50th anniversary of the Kaiserring, widely regarded as one of the most important international accolades in modern and contemporary art. Renowned past recipients include artists such as Georg Baselitz and Andreas Gursky.
