ICA Miami presents a major solo exhibition of work by Marguerite Humeau this December. The show features newly commissioned sculptures and video work brought together in an immersive installation.

The title ‘ \ *sk*/ey- ’ derives from an antiquated Proto-Indo-European term for shedding or splitting. In this exhibition, Humeau experiments with form through abstract narratives. Informed by the transformative effects of climate change, she explores the possibilities of metamorphosis and mutation in a post-human world.
