Antony Gormley at the Royal Academy of Arts, London

21 September - 3 December 2019

White Cube is pleased to support Antony Gormley’s major exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, which features works from the artist’s 45-year career as well as several new, site-specific installations.

Taking place across the Main Galleries, the exhibition focuses on Gormley’s use of organic, industrial and elemental materials, whilst also exploring his use of the human body as a motif throughout his work.

Highlights include the installation Clearing VII, Gormley’s large scale ‘drawing in space’ made of seemingly endless coils of metal, and Lost Horizon I, which features 24 life-size cast iron figures set at different orientations on the walls, floor and ceiling.

From 13 November 2019, an exhibition of Antony Gormley’s work opens at White Cube Mason’s Yard.
