Danh Vo presents his first solo exhibition in Japan at The National Museum of Art, Osaka. Titled ‘Danh Vo oV hna’, the show encompasses over 40 new and recent works which draw on the artist’s own experiences and family history.
Incorporating readymade objects rich in socio-political historical implications, collected materials such as photographs and letters, and objects produced by important people in his life, Vo explores themes such as identity, power and history, inviting viewers to adopt varying perspectives on a single object or phenomenon.
