White Cube is pleased to present a new online exhibition by Fred Tomaselli. A self-professed ‘news junkie’, Tomaselli reads The New York Times religiously and sees his own practice as a collage artist – working both on paper and in epoxy resin – as comparable to that of a newspaper editor. ‘I tend to see myself as a kind of conductor overseeing a choir of nameless voices singing through artifacts’. Using collage, ink, acrylic paint and digital technologies, Tomaselli’s reworks the paper’s daily headlines and photographs, creating kaleidoscopic meditations on the ecstasy and agony of human experience.
