New work by Julie Mehretu features in the group exhibition ‘Actions. The image of the world can be different’ at the reopening of Kettle’s Yard at the University of Cambridge.

Taking inspiration from a letter by the artist Naum Gabo in 1944, the show seeks to reassert the potential of art as a poetic, social and political force in the world and includes works by 38 artists.
