Paintings and works on paper by Julie Mehretu are presented in a survey exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, co-organised by the museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Spanning two decades of work, the show explores themes such as colonialism, geopolitics, capitalism and diaspora through abstraction, architecture, landscape, movement and figuration.
