The Pilgrimage of Gilbert & George

Gilbert & George’s new documentary, The Pilgrimage of Gilbert & George, premieres at 9pm on Tuesday 28th May. Filmed over the spring and summer of 2023, this immersive 87-minute film weaves together new interviews with the artist duo and a rich tapestry of historical archive footage to form a compelling personal reflection on Gilbert & George’s journey and enduring art philosophy.

The Pilgrimage of Gilbert & George is free to watch in the UK via Sky Arts on Freeview channel 36. It is also being broadcast on Sky TV (channel 130) and on NOW TV.
