Theaster Gates’s exhibition ‘The Black Image Corporation’ opens at Gropius Bau, Berlin.

Previously presented at Fondazione Prada, Milan, the project explores the legacy of the Johnson Publishing Company archives and how these images have contributed to shaping the aesthetic and cultural language of contemporary African American identity.
