Theaster Gates has been named a recipient of this year's prestigious Isamu Noguchi Award. Selected by The Noguchi Museum, the award recognises individuals who share the late artist's spirit of innovation, imagination and uncompromising commitment to creativity. The award ceremony will take place during the Noguchi Museum's annual benefit gala on 12 September 2023, which raises essential funds to support the museum's exhibitions, research, programming and the care of its renowned collection.
