White Cube is among 248 international galleries from 32 countries and territories participating in the 2018 edition of Art Basel Hong Kong, presenting works by Georg Baselitz, Tracey Emin, Theaster Gates, Wang Gongxin, Antony Gormley, Damien Hirst, Minjung Kim, Zhou Li, Julie Mehretu, Seung-taek Lee, Raqib Shaw and more. White Cube artists Antony Gormley, He Xiangyu and Gabriel Orozco also participate in panel discussions taking place at the fair. Coinciding with Art Basel, White Cube Hong Kong opens ‘Rooting the Synapse’ a solo exhibition of Antony Gormley, featuring sculptures from his new ‘Rooter’ series, running from 27 March until 19 May 2018 (preview: Monday 26 March, 6–8.30pm). Gormley and Emin are also among 18 artists featured in the Harbour Arts Sculpture Park project, curated by Mori Art Museum director Fumio Nanjo and Royal Academy of Arts artistic director Tim Marlow, running from 22 February until 11 April 2018.
